1. Information We Collect

In order to provide high-quality service, Spext collects only the minimal data strictly necessary for sharing:

• User Content: Text notes, URL links you share, and temporary files you upload (maximum 25MB).
• Metadata: Automatically generated unique 4-character access codes, creation timestamps, view count, and expiration settings.

2. How We Use Information

All collected data is processed solely for the following core purposes:

• Hosting and delivering text, links, or files during your chosen duration to anyone who inputs the unique access code.
• Permanently and automatically deleting the content once the duration expires or immediately after being read if 'One-Time View' is enabled.

3. Data Storage and Infrastructure

All shared content and files are securely stored on Google Firebase cloud database infrastructure. Firebase provides world-class data security and access protection protocols. All data transfers across our pages are fully secured via industry-standard HTTPS/SSL encryption.

4. Third-Party Sharing

Spext never processes, shares, or sells any user content, texts, or files for commercial or advertising purposes. All shares are fully anonymous. We do not store directly identifying personal data such as names, emails, or IP addresses.

5. User Rights

You have complete control over all shares you create. Once your selected expiration period ends, your data is completely and permanently deleted. It is technically impossible to recover or restore content after it has been deleted.
