Spext is a free, anonymous, and open-source web application that enables users to temporarily share text, links, and files. The service is provided 'as is' without requiring any user registration or membership.

2. Prohibited Content and Use

When using the Spext platform, uploading, sharing, or hosting the following types of content is strictly prohibited:

• Content that is illegal, criminal, or promotes illicit activities.
• Viruses, trojans, spyware, or other malicious software intended to damage systems.
• URL addresses created for phishing, scamming, or deceptive purposes.
• Materials that infringe on intellectual property, copyright, or commercial trademarks.
• Materials containing hate speech, harassment, threats, pornography, or child abuse.

3. Content Responsibility

Spext does not pre-screen or moderate the content of texts or files shared by users. The user who creates the share is completely and without exception responsible for all shared content, links, and files.

4. Limitation of Liability

Spext and its developers shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the following scenarios:

• Data loss or service interruptions resulting from Firebase cloud infrastructure or internet service provider outages.
• Unauthorized access caused by third parties guessing or intercepting the 4-character access code.
• The inability to recover or restore data that was permanently deleted due to expiration or the 'One-Time View' setting.

5. Amendments to Terms

Spext reserves the right to update these terms of service at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use the service, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
